Hello, everyone. I'm Niall Murphy, Deputy Director of Glasgow City Heritage Trust, and I'm your host for this brand new podcast series called "If Glasgow's Walls Could Talk. Every week we will explore a variety of heritage topics and historic buildings in Glasgow together with a bunch of great guests. During this 10 episode podcast series, every speaker will have the chance to share their memories and thoughts as we try to discover just what is it which makes the city of Glasgow so special. You'll hear about classical historic music venues with Norry Wilson from Lost Glasgow and what tenement living means today and in the past.
We'll talk about accessibility issues with consultant Emily Rose Yates and the challenges of mapping Queer Scotland with Dr. Jeffrey Meek from Glasgow University. You'll learn more about murals and historic buildings with Ali Smith, curator of Art Pistol, and different ways to talk about Glasgow's role in the slave trade with Katie Bruce, curator at GoMa. And this is just to name a few of the guests we've got lined up.
